The State Key Laboratory of Hydraulic and Mountain River Engineering (SKHL) invites hydraulic researchers all over the world to submit proposals for research cooperation at Sichuan University and use this unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and to embark on new research ideas.
Authorized by National Planning Board (NPB) in May 1988, the SKHL is the first State Key Laboratory in hydraulic engineering in China. Since then, SKHL has played an active role in hydraulic research collaboration with other universities and institutions in China. The SKHL consists of the following five research divisions, namely, (1) High-speed flow hydraulics and high-dam engineering, (2) Mountain river hydrodynamics and mountain river engineering, (3) Environmental hydraulics and mountain river protection, (4) Dam and reservoir safety, and (5) Hydroinformatics and new technology in hydraulic engineering.
Attached please find the application form of the open fund research at SKHL. Interested researchers may apply for the open fund for up to 24 months, with a maximum total request of 100,000 RMB. The deadline for this year’s the open fund research is November 30th, 2014. Please complete application form and sent to skhl@scu.edu.cn. Proposals will be reviewed by the scientific committee of SKHL and the fund will be granted on a competitive basis.
